This work peels back layers of a facade, revealing an assortment of abstracted and representational sculptural forms creating suggestions of complex machinery and inner workings below the surface. Thinking through ideas around what is hidden and what is shown, what is seen and unseen, represented and abstracted.

Commissioned installation for Etcher Salon in the Adelaide CBD, painted elements mounted on the wall along with painting directly onto the wall. LED strip winding through the piece is controlled by the salon computer, programmed to change colour over the day and night, acting as an abstracted clock.
